Hi Ashish,

According to me standard maths sharing test might be the name given as you shift from basics to standard level.

Next, Students who choose Basic Mathematics will not be able to study Mathematics in higher grades, whereas students who choose Standard Mathematics will be able to do so. In comparison to Standard Math, the questions in Basic Math are substantially easier. If a student pays close attention to NCERT, he or she will be able to answer all of the questions in basic math. Standard Math questions, on the other hand, necessitate higher-order thinking skills. If a student has passed the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam with Basic Mathematics and wishes to shift to Standard Mathematics, you must meet a condition after the result is announced. A student must pass the CBSE Standard Math Sharing Test to advance from Basic Math to Standard Math. Students are entitled to study Mathematics in upper courses after passing the Standard Mathematics Compartment Exam.

Hope that answers your question

Ashish Ahirwar See according to CBSE to take admission in 11 for pcm standard maths is necessary. Though they have also provided the provision to change from basic maths to standard by giving standard maths compartment exam after appearing and clearing for basic math exam.
According to me sharing test is a second name given to the standard maths compartment exam. Hope that is clear now.
