CHSL offers 4 types of work profile and the salary is dependent on the work profile. Now after the 7th pay commission applicability the post vs salary are provided below:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Band- Rs. 5200-20200; Grade pay-Rs. 1900
• Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Band- Rs. 5200-20200; Grade pay-Rs. 2400
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Band- Rs. 5200-20200; Grade pay-Rs. 2400
• Data Entry Operator- Grade A- Rs. 5200-20200; Grade pay-Rs. 2400

This are the basic pay. Now the HRA in 7th pay commission for x,y,z cities are:

• X-cities: 24%
• Y-cities:16%
• Z-cities:8 %

**There are some deduction also occur such as Provident fund etc. After that the inhand salary is provided.
