state and explain parallel axis theorem
Hi Shivanand,
Parallel Axis Theorem states that "The moment of inertia of the body about axis parallel to the body passing by its center is equal to the sum of moment of inertia of the body about the axis passing through the center and the product of mass of the body multiply by the square of distance between the two axes."
The formula of Parallel Axis Theorem is I = I c + Mh 2 .
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!
