Hi.

One of the first steps is you get a print out of this JEE Main syllabus to track your progress as your complete the syllabus.

1) JEE Syllabus :

2) Evaluate your position. Find whether you still have to complete the syllabus or you just have to study certain topics or you just need to practice. Then proceed accordingly. Buy 40 Years Question paper for JEE Main by Arihant for all 3 subjects, they provide a really good practice facility and makes you avoid unnecessary hassle of out of the box questions.

3) You can follow these steps:

  • Firstly, tell yourself that JEE is not tough. Think in terms of actual scenarios and not just solving problems.
  • Think long term. Only then you can prepare sincerely, create a practical study plan, and get the desired score or rank.
  • JEE Advanced question papers have an abundance of numerical problems. So, never ignore them. A candidate is most likely to scale the cut-off if he/she is adept at solving numerical problems in all the three subjects—physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
  • Track your problem-solving speed. Keep practicing so that by the time you go for the actual exam, you will have developed a knack for recognizing the type of problem at once, just by looking at it.
  • Don’t forget to do the things you like. It could be an hour of playing football, that Bollywood dance class or a quick gym session. These recreational activities are more important than they seem.

You can also go through THIS PAGE which has been especially created to aid your problem.

If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.

Best of Luck.

Dear student,

Only few months are left for jee. You can start with the ncert's for the three subjects. For chemistry just study the ncerts and practice the previous years question papers as you do not have much time. For physics practice as much previous years you can and also study the ncert. For maths you can solve the sample papers. You can also join some crash course to ease out your preparation.
