Hi Aspirant,

NEET UG is a National level undergraduate medical entrance exam, whereas NEET PG is postgraduate entrance exam. So the candidates passing class 12/ appearing class 12 are eligible for NEET UG.
The eligibility criteria for NEET is,
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years
  • Candidates must have scored aggregate of 50 % in PCB, i.e. Physics, Chemistry,Biology.
  • There are no restrictions on number of attempts.

Hello Aspirant,

If you are just class 12th pass then you have to appear for NEET IG if you are seeking admission in medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and other AYUSH courses. For NEET PG one should have bachelor's degree in the medicine program but you have mentioned that you are only 12th passed then you must not be having bachelor's degree of medicine so you have to appear for NEET UG.

Eligibility criteria for NEET UG is described below :-

** You should have scored minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your class 12th examination if you belongs to General category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders. and you also must have passed in theory as well as practical in each of the three subjects.

** In your curriculum English subject should be there and should have passed in it also.

** Your age must be 17 years or older on December 31st of the examination year.

** There is no upper age limit for NEET UG till now.

Hello,

The students who have passed class 12th they are eligible to give NEET UG. NEET UG to pursue various undergraduate courses offered by many different colleges. The NEET 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 1st August 2021 and if the situation is under control then that exam will be conducted as per the schedule. The application form is not yet released but it is expected to be released soon. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. The application form will be released in online mode only at neet.nta.nic.in. . NTA NEET 2021 application form are expected to release shortly.
