students of arts can take maths but in 10th student haveing basic maths so he take maths or not ......

Yes, you can definitely take arts stream (humanities) with maths in the plus 2 level. Maths is a prerequisite for admission in BA(hons) Economics in some universities in India namely, University of Delhi, University of Calcutta.
