PUC – Pre-University Course is an intermediate course conducted by the state education board in India. It is a substitute for 11th and 12th standards under national-level boards. In PUC, you able to learn core subjects only and your hands to Mathematics will become so difficult when you reach to your engineering. So if you are planning to work out with only Core Subjects than PUC would be better and easier to focus.

So, students other than PUC board simply means students from CBSE,ICSE etc.
