Hello,
When both are concerned IIT has great exposure and reputation than Anna University.
IIT is a dream college for todays Engineering aspirants. To get into IIT you should have a valid score in JEE Advanced examination.
To get into Anna university you should apply for TNEA(Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). There is no entrance exams till now for joining Anna University and its affiliated institutions.
IIT has good research facilities and a great place to learn. Faculty and students will be from all over the country and you will adapt yourself to become a Top Engineer in the world.
So doing b-tech at IIT is far more better than doing b-tech from Anna University and then pursuing Mtech from IIT.
Thank you.

Sir, i am complete 12th std but i can't prepare and write the JEE exam in this year. So, i prepare for this JEE exam as a repeaters. then only i join at IIT. So, it is worth for it...? because or other than i join at anna university on this year. for the wasting of one year for the preparation. So which is best for me. please send your reply as a comment and soon as possible. I hope you to understand this message. Thank You.
If you're not sure of your JEE preparations, and don't want to waste your one year for JEE preparations, then it's better to take admission this year only and keep your preparations on for JEE parallely.
Hope it helps you.
