Subject wise cutoff marks in neet ug
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
There is no subject wise cutoff in NEET. Even if someone scores zero in one of the sections and obtains good score in rest two sections, they still manage to qualify the exam. The cutoff released by the authorities is only for the aggregate marks of all three sections.
But yes when there is tie between two candidates who have scored same marks, then the individual subject scores are given preference.
First preference is given to biology, one with high biology score is given priority.
If the biology scores are also same, them chemistry score is preferred.
If marks are same even in chemistry, then physics scores are looked for.
Thank you for your question.
Well, you need to understand that cutoff marks in NEET are based on the total marks achieved by the candidate.
That means 180 of physics 180 of chemistry and 360 of biology.
Cut off marks is calculated out of 720.
Subject wise cutoff is looked only if there is a tie between students. First biology is seen, then the other subjects.
Good luck
