Solution : We know, single equivalent discount = $(a+b-\frac{a×b}{100}$)%, where $a$% and $b$% are successive discounts.
⇒ Single equivalent discount = $15+35-\frac{15×35}{100}=50-5.25=44.75$%
Hence, the correct answer is 44.75%.
