Solution : Single equivalent discount = $(a+b-\frac{a×b}{100}$)%, where $a$% and $b$% are successive discounts.
Here $a$ = 33% and $b$ = 30%
So, Single equivalent discount $= 33+30 - \frac{33×30 }{ 100}=63-9.9 = 53.1$%
Hence, the correct answer is 53.1%.
