Correct Answer: $\left(p + q - \frac{pq}{100} \right )$%

Solution : Successive discounts of $p$% and $q$% are offered.
As we know, the formula for two successive discounts is $X$ and $Y$:
Equivalent single discount = $X+Y−\frac{XY}{100}$%
Single equivalent discount = $p+q−\frac{pq}{100}$%.
Hence, the correct answer is $p+q−\frac{pq}{100}$%.
