Correct Answer:

Thermoregulation

Solution : The correct option is Thermoregulation

Mammalian sweat glands are largely related with thermoregulation. The process through which an organism maintains a constant internal temperature is known as thermoregulation. Eccrine glands secrete a watery sweat that aids in cooling the body through evaporation. Apocrine glands produce heavier sweat including proteins and lipids. Sweating is supposed to aid in social communication and sexual desire. Sweating is produced by the eccrine glands as the body temperature rises. Sweat then evaporates from the skin, cooling the body. This is known as evaporative cooling.
