Syllabus for AP ICET are as follows.

The various topics from which the question are divided into 3 sections which are discussed below. These 3 sections are categorized in such a way that they can check different skills of the candidates specifically. The 3 sections in AP ICET 2020 syllabus are:

• Analytical Ability

• Communication Ability

• Mathematical Ability

Analytical Ability:

The questions asked in this section check the candidate’s reasoning and analytical abilities. The section is divided into 2 parts which are data sufficiency and problem-solving. Important topics from which the questions are most probably to be asked are seating arrangement, sequence and series, Venn diagram, bar graph, pie charts, data analysis. All the topics are listed in the table below:

Communication Ability:

This section analyses the candidates' grammar and vocabulary skills and reading abilities. Candidates while preparing for this section should have a command in reading skills comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. In this section, the candidates will be assessed based on the ability to :

• Identify the vocabulary used in day-to-day communication.

• Understand the functional use of grammar in our day-to-day communication as well as in terms of business contexts

• Identify the terminology and concepts in computer and business (letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes etc.)

• Understand written text and drawing inferences

The section is divided into 4 parts which are

• Vocabulary,

• Business and Computer terminology

• Functional Grammar,

• Reading Comprehension (3 Passages).

Mathematical Ability

The section consist of 3 parts which are :

• Arithmetical Ability

• Algebraical and Geometrical Ability

• Statistical Ability
