MU-OET is easier than GATE. Go through the syllabus/details on their website/brochure. Just prepare the syllabus well, there is nothing specific.
You get 90 minutes for 60 questions, so this is the only difficulty.
Also most of MU-OET top rankers are from ECE, & Microelectronics has limited seats (probably 18). Cut-off rank for M.tech Microelectronics is 25-30 .
But, if not specific, then consider M.E. in VLSI (its really good), Mtech DEAC, & M.E. Embedded systems too.
If you are GATE qualified, make sure you send a copy of GATE scorecard along with registration form to get additional 10% marks (of max GATE score), hence a better rank in merit list.
