For admission to M.Sc programmes, entrance exam is conducted by the University. You can go through the link below and check the detailed syllabus for the entrance exam of M.Sc Programmes at JNU for reference -

However, it should be noted that JNU has announced that there will be a change in the entrance examination process for the academic year 2019-20 and the format of the entrance exam will be Multiple Choice Questions through a Computer Based Test. Prospectus for the academic year 2019-20 has not yet released by the University.
