Correct Answer:

Peas

Solution : The correct option is Peas.

Symbiotic bacteria that fix atmospheric nitrogen are found in the root nodules of certain plants, particularly legumes. Peas, lentils, chickpeas, soybeans, alfalfa, clover, beans and peanuts are examples of these plants. In return for nutrients and carbohydrates given by the plant, they transform atmospheric nitrogen gas (N 2 ) into a form that the plant may use for growth and development. This is known as nitrogen fixation, and it is necessary for supplementing soil with nitrogen, a crucial ingredient for plant development.
