hi..

Staring at a computer screen all day is bad for the eyes. Fact: Although using a computer will not harm your eyes , staring at a computer screen all day will contribute to eyestrain or tired eyes. Adjust lighting so that it does not create a glare or harsh reflection on the screen.

Hello,

It depends on how much time you spend on either of these devices as both of them can be harmful for you.

But a tablet might damage your eyesight a little faster than laptops. You hold the tablet screen closer to your face and eyes so the pixels on the screen are larger, but the laptop screen, you are a bit further back so the pixel may be a little larger. tablet is designed to be looked at close up angle and laptops a little further.

It also depends on the quality and type of screen of either devices. But a laptop usually has better feature in terms of lighting, screen and technology which is supposed to be better for your eyes.

I hope this answers your question.
