taking govt college is better or taking a govt seat in private medical college

The answer may vary if we were to look at it from various perspectives but more people prefer government colleges rather than any seat (government or management) in private colleges. This might be true due to the following reasons:

1. Fees: Any seat in a private medical college will always cost you way more than what you pay in any government college

2. Many government colleges have been established way earlier than private ones thus provide better academic records and are ranked higher

3. Exposure- due to the low cost of treatment in government colleges, you will always find more patients there. More patients means more clinical rotations thus more experience.

4. One major con of getting into any GMC is the lack of proper infrastructure and other facilities.
