Hello ,
TANCET normalized score  for MTech above 60 is given grade A for general category. Grade A says candidates can take admission to 1st tier colleges like CEG,MIT, AC Tech campus.
Score between 51-57 is graded B for general category which says a candidate can join university department of AU and it's branch colleges and government colleges and it gives subsidized turion fee
Score between 47-50 is given grade C which says candidates can join top private colleges like Venkateswara college of engineering , kumaraguru college of engineering, SSN.
Score in range 45-47 given grade D which says candidates can join next grade colleges like panimalar engineering college, easwari engineering college, SONA college of engineering , Dr. Mahalingam college of engineering and technology.
Grade between 42-45 is given grade E which says candidates can join average private college and F grade says candidates to join other private college.
Normalized score is calculated by the formula :-
40+ (10/S)(R-M) where S stands for standard deviation , M means for mean score and R means Raw score.
