Here are the list of exams with their brief description:
1. CLAT- Common Law Admission Test is an entrance exam for the National Law University and also used by other Universities to give admission for LLB and LLM. There are total of 22 NLUs in India like NLU Jodhpur, GNLU, NLU Bangalore etc. There is no upper age limit in this and other eligibility criteria are: 45% in 10+2 for General/OBC and 40% in 10+2 for SC/ST.
2. LSAT- Law School Admission Test is an entrance exam which occurs four times a year conducted to check the reading and verbal reasoning skills . The scores of LSAT are accepted by top institutes like IIT Kharagpur Law School, Jindal Law School, UPES dehradun etc.
3. AIBE- All India Bar Exam is basically not conducted to get admissions in Law Schools rather the purpose is to check the efficiency and capability of an advocate to practice the profession law.
4. AILET- It is especially conducted to get admission in NLU Delhi programs but scores are also accepted by some other Universities.
5. SET- Symbiosis Entrance Test is another entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis University.
6. DU Law Entrance Exam is conducted by DU for admissions in LLB and LLM.
There are few others which are University specific but these are main which covers all the top colleges for Law in India.
