The syllabus for TIFR 2020 is :

Physics Chemistry
Electronics Biophysics
Quantum Mechanics Organic Chemistry
General Physics Analytical Chemistry
Experimental Physics Quantum Chemistry
Classical Mechanics Thermodynamics
Heat, Thermodynamics Physical Chemistry
Statistical Physics Inorganic Chemistry
Modern Physics Electro Chemistry
Electricity and Magnetism Logic & statistics & mathematical methods
Mathematics relevant to Physics Spectroscopy (NMR, fluorescence, IR, UV and X-ray)


For Maths:

1. Duration of the exam: 2 hours 2. Type of Questions: Objective type MCQ 3. There will be 25 true/false and 15 multiple choice questions

2. There will be 25 T/F and 15 MCQs

3. There is a negative marking of 1 mark.
