Here are some of my top picks in Coimbatore for Btech :-

1) Amrita Viswa Vidya Peetham(deemed to be university), Coimbatore.

Firstly, in order to get an admission, one should appear for an entrance examination which is conducted by Amrita. So, when you get the  results you will be called for counselling session and after that, if you get your interested branch of engineering there, then you can join. The fee structure is around 3 lakh per annum and lakh for hostel. Amrita offers a very good placements and teaching with wellbuilt infrastructure.

2) PSG College of Technology (affiliated to anna university, Chennai), Coimbatore.

PSG is top1 college under Anna university, Chennai. If you are a Tamil Nadu resident, then it is easier to get seat here with TNEA counselling. In other cases, you have to opt for a management seat which is highly expensive and has donation around 25lakh which is to be paid at a time. But, PSG has a highly experienced staff and also very great placements too.

3) Coimbatore institute of technology, Coimbatore.

Coimbatore institute of technology is also affiliated to anna university, Chennai. It is a very old college. It is very well reputed with placements and provides wonderful hostel facilities. The admission procedure remains same as of PSG mentioned above.

4) Karunya University (deemed to be university),  Coimbatore.

Karunya is one of the famous colleges for Bachelors of technology in Coimbatore. The admission process is as that of amrita, you have to write an entrance exam conducted by Karunya University. It is a very vast college and fee structure is moderate around 2lakh per annum.

5) Kumaraguru college of technology, Coimbatore.

Kumaraguru is also a prestigious institution in Coimbatore. Fee structure is around one and half lakh per annum and offer good teaching staff with great alumni connections and also it has good hostek facilities.
