Tests for foreign language studies abroad
Hello dear,
Can you tell a bit more about what your education background? If you wish to do MBA then you should be giving GMAT and prepare for atleast 4–5 moths for it. If you plan on doing Masters after engineering then you give GRE. If you plan on getting in Canada to not so very competitive courses then you just give IELTS which is a general English test.
Hello Aspirant,
The first thing to keep in mind is most of the EU countries, teach their undergraduate course in the local language be it GER/FRA/RUSS/ITA or any other. You need to have an advanced level of local language skills to even consider taking admission at bachelors level in these countries.
If you do not know the language already it would for sure be difficult to reach to the level of proficiency without which you would not be able to apply for admission to the respective colleges & universities in these countries.
Study abroad requires a lot of groundwork, irrespective of the country; you would need to meet the eligibility criteria for the studies in the respective country. There is a different requirement for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree courses (academics, test scores (IELTS, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, SAT, ACT, etc.) & local language skills also play a major role in some countries, especially EU (European Union) Countries.
For admission to any Bachelor’s degree course, generally 12/13 years of regular education is must (10+2 or 10+3 years) & for Master’s degree course 15/16 years (10+2+4 or 10+2+3+1/2 years) of regular education is must or mandate.
