Textile engineering is completely different from chemical or civil engineering in mechanical engineering where you read about machines and their designing and more about automobiles and their functioning and in case of civil engineering you deal with infrastructures and loading and all but the textile branch is completely differentit involve the various processes of manufacture of textiles starting from the raw materials.
