Hello aspirant,
Thank for contacting Careers 360.
So you want to increase your focus. Increasing focus is difficult inititally, but becomes easier in due course of time. Here are some tips -
1. Meditation
Try to wake up early and medidate. This will make your mind clear and give it a positive energy. During my preparation, I personally used Headspace app that assisted me in meditation. Download it from playstore, and just spend 5 mins with this app and you feel so refreshed and energized.
2. Stop comparing
People generally waste time in comparing themshelves with others. Just stop that. But compare with yourself, how you were yesterday. Try to make today better than yesterday. By doing such, you will make yourself a very strong competitor.
3. Exercise
Spend 1 hour exercising or playing a highly energy consuming game (like football/badminton). Exercising improves focus and you can study for long hours.
4. Avoid studying at a stretch
Follow this rule - 2 hours of study followed by 30 minutes break.
5. Read Bhagvat Gita (assuming you are Hindu)
Spend 5 minutes studying the english translation of Gita. The outcome is enormous. Just study and thank me later.
6. Diet
Diet also has an influence on studying hours. Consuming too much spicy and oily foods make can make you lazy. Eat more of green leafy vegetables, dark chocolates and drink adequate amounts of water so as to improve your focussing ability.
7. Change the room
If possible do this. Studies have shown that sitting and studying in the same room becomes monotonous. Changing the room where you are studying, gives your brain a new kind of energy.
Hope these steps help.
Thank You
Best Of Luck

physics all the less important and event of ties is a definite booster in case of leveling up your score and this special importance to chapters of wave optics, electromagnetism, modern physics and mechanics
try to dedicate to 23 hours of each of these subject started in day with biology doing physics in the mid session and mining 8th of with chemistry with an hour of gap in between each of the subjects
Try giving mock examinations in the MCQ format especially Pune time bond format and if possible again the all India test series of Aakash or Allen since it gives you a moral decide about where you stand on national forum and will not only help you with your time management and question selection skills but also make you aware of your weaknesses and help you work upon them within time
