No official information,90% of chance to remove

Because in this year there are 2019,2020,2021 passout students are appearing for jee...so let me tell you

2019 passout- due to corona many students lost their chance to attend jee  and cutoff is increased, preparation wasn't good, worried about corona during exam..so lot of things faced by them

2020 passout- They Even didn't write the exam... students who writes exam ahs faced many promblems....some board give max marks some give based on assignment,so its hard for them to secure 75%

2021passout-one year is completely online class no practical , theory are messed up, no class test and term exam, can't solve doubt and many students don't have range and facilities for online class,so its hard to secure 75% may be they can pass but 75% for science students need better preparation

It is a competitive exam so rule can't apply oy 2020 or 2021 or 2019 students so it will be applicable for everyone, otherwise it will badly effect the rank  andalso it will be partiality,so mostly 75% criteria will remove or relax for all students

Hello

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has revised its eligibility criteria for admission for the academic session 2020-21 due to covid-19 pandemic. The criteria has been relaxed this time due to the pandemic situation. Officially,  there is no information regarding JEE Main 2021 eligibility criteria.

Hello,

The minimum percentage requirement is scrapped off to get admission in IITs and NITs for the academic year 2020-21 due to corona pandemic. It is not sure if the relaxation is applicable for the next year. The relaxation is given because the class 12 board exams were not conducted or has been cancelled by several boards and results were given based on internal assessment and marks scored for which the exams were conducted. This might not be the case for the academic year 2021-22. It will be announced officially next year if there are any changes or not.

Prince Penny Hembrom Technically the 75% criteria should be removed for 2020 passouts however no such statement has been released so far. Without any official statement from the Govt we cannot say anything right now.

Prince Penny Hembrom The relaxation in minimum percentage is only given for the academic year 2020-21. So if you want to appear in JEE Main in 2021 and get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs then you need to score 75% marks if you belong to general and 65% marks if you belong to SC/ST category. But there is no official announcement yet whether minimum percentage criteria will be again considered for JEE main 2021.

Hey Prince

The relaxation (till now) is only for 2020 due to the pandemic only due to the partial cancellation of 12th board exams by some boards. This criteria, for now, was only removed for 2020 academic session and probably from next year the  minimum 75% in boards criteria will be back for iits and nits. Also the reduced syllabus is onlyfor this year and there is no guarantee that the syllabu swill be reduced next year too. Also, a lot of changes are expected to take place in education ministry hence next year is a far fetched matter for now.
