For getting an admission in any IITs only JEE advance mark is accountable. But for giving JEE advance you must clear JEE mains. Now after qualifying for JEE advance you'll be eligible to appear the exam. If you do exceptionally wood and get within 10,000 rank you'll surely get a seat in IIT. But this will take a lot of hard work.
Admission to IIT is done through JOSAA counseling after the JEE advance result is published. Only after qualifying JEE advance you'll be allowed to take part in registration for IITs.
