Hello,

We know that, for Simple Pendulum,

Kinetic Energy = T = [ m.ω^2 ( A^2 − x^2 ) ] / 2

Potential Energy = U = m.ω^2.x^2

Hence, Ratio of Kinetic Energy to the Potential Energy is,

T / U = ( A^2 - x^2 ) / x^2

i.e., T : U = ( A^2 - x^2 ) : x^2

Best Wishes.
