Correct Answer: Rs. 8,000
Solution :
Average monthly income of A and B = Rs. 7000
Average monthly income of B and C = Rs. 7750
Average monthly income of A and C = Rs. 6750
⇒ A + B = 2 × 7000 = 14000
⇒ B + C = 2 × 7750 = 15500
⇒ C + A = 2 × 6750 = 13500-----(1)
⇒ A + B + C = $\frac{43000}{2}$ = 21500-----(2)
By subtracting equation(1) from equation(2), we get,
$\therefore$ B = 21500 - 13500 = 8000
Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 8,000.
