Solution :
Given
An average of 20 numbers = 32
Total of 32 numbers = 20 × 32 = 640
After removing 29 and 31 new total = 640 – (29 + 31) = 640 – 60 = 580
$\therefore$ New average = $\frac{580}{18}=32.22$
Hence, the correct answer is 32.22.
