Correct Answer: 48

Solution : Sum of p, q, r, s = Average × count = 30 × 4 = 120
Sum of p, q = Average × count = 12 × 2 = 24
Sum of r, s = Sum of p, q, r, s – Sum of p, q = 120 – 24 = 96
$\therefore$ Average of r and s = $\frac{\text{Sum of r, s}}{\text{count}}=\frac{96}{2}= 48$
Hence, the correct answer is 48.
