Question : The bar graph given below shows the sales of bikes and cars by five companies J, K, L, M, and N.

P1 = The total sales of bikes of all the 5 companies.
P2 = The total sales of cars of all 5 companies.
What is the value of (P2 – P1)?

Correct Answer: 450


Solution : P1 = The total sales of bikes of all the 5 companies = 50 + 25 + 125 + 150 + 200 = 550
P2 = The total sales of cars of the all 5 companies = 300 + 75 + 175 + 250 + 200 = 1000
$\therefore$ P2 – P1 = 1000 – 550 = 450
Hence, the correct answer is 450.
