The candidate should be 12th standard graduate for the UPSC examination
No only a 12th pass candidate cannot give UPSC examination.
For UPSC examinations the candidate is required to fulfill these eligibility criterias :
- The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in any course from a university incorporated by an act of central or state legislature in India or established by the act of Parliament.
- The final year candidates can also apply.
- You must have minimum 21 years of age calculated as on 1st of August every year which exam takes place.
The candidate must hold minimum bachelor's degree from any university.
For UPSC examination your minimum eligibility criteria is a 12th pass. You will have to answer their preliminary round and then is the difficult interview round. So prepare well and answer well.
