The Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, launched "Football for All" in the state to take the culture of football to the grassroots. FIFA, in collaboration with Kalinga Institute of Technology (KIIT) and Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS), initiated this scheme. Through this scheme, 43,000 footballs will be distributed among 2,000 schools. The motive of the scheme is to create awareness about football among schoolchildren.
