Correct Answer: 21 cm
Solution : Let the radius of the first circle be $r_1$. Circumference of the first circle $=2\pi r{_1}$ ⇒ $308 = 2×\frac{22}{7}×r{_1}$ ⇒ $r_1$ = 49 cm Let the radius of the 2nd circle be $r_2$. Circumference of the 2nd circle $=2\pi r{_2}$ ⇒ $440 = 2×\frac{22}{7}×r{_2}$ ⇒ $r_2$ = 70 cm $\therefore$ Difference = (70 – 49) cm = 21 cm Hence, the correct answer is 21 cm.
