CSE core has the subjects which are the core or the basic of any computer. Such as: Object oriented programming, operating system, digital logic and design, translator and compilers, data structure and algorithm, database management system, compiter networks, Microcontrollers. These are the subjects with core information and learning.

CSE specialization has subjects or courses that are uner a particular field and have a very deep learning into that field. These are the type of common specializations: Artificial learning, cloud computing, machine learning, natural language processing, conputer security, robotics, computer vision etc.

Though there is not muh difference between the two, you should choose what you're more interested into.
