Correct Answer: 10%

Solution : Let the initial selling price of the pulse be 100.
The cost price is 12% less than selling price = 88
To earn a profit of 25%, the final selling price
= $\frac{125}{100}\times$ Cost price
= $\frac{125}{100}\times88$
= $110$
Difference in selling price = 110 – 100 = 10
Required percentage = $\frac{\text{Difference}}{\text{Initial selling price}}\times100=\frac{10}{100}\times100=10\%$
Hence, the correct answer is 10%.
