Correct Answer: 1,666.67
Solution : Effective discount after two successive discounts of 15% and 10% = 15 + 10 – ($\frac{15×10}{100}$) = 25 – 1.5 = 23.5% Difference = (25% – 23.5%) of the bill amount ⇒ 25 = 1.5% of the bill amount $\therefore$ Bill amount = $\frac{2500}{1.5}$ = 1666.67 Hence, the correct answer is 1666.67.
