Correct Answer: 54
Solution : We know that Selling price = $\frac{100- \text{Discount}\%}{100}×$ cost price So, the amount after a discount of 35% on INR 3,600 = $\frac{(100-35)}{100}×3,600$ = 2340 Amount after two successive discounts of 30% and 5% on INR 3,600 = $\frac{(100-30)}{100}$×$\frac{(100-5)}{100}$×3600 = 2394 $\therefore$ Difference = 2394 – 2340 = 54 Hence, the correct answer is 54.
