NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
From this year, there will be no 70:30 reservations in Maharashtra. The State Quota seats were filled divided into 70% Regional quota and 30% State Quota. The 70% Regional quota seats were reserved for Candidates belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra. And the Constitutional quota of Maharashtra is for Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes, NT-A,B,C,D and OBC. NT-B falls under OBC Category. So Vidarbha in Raghavi Districts falls under OBC Category. So if you come under OBC Category, then you have decent chances in:
- Dr Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital
- Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College
- Jalagaon Medical College
Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
