Correct Answer: No sooner he was


Solution : The second option is correct .

The error lies in the placement of the subject and the auxiliary verb after no sooner . In English, when no sooner is used, the subject and the auxiliary verb should be inverted. So, instead of no sooner he was , it should be no sooner was he.

Therefore, the corrected sentence is: No sooner was he brought to the hospital than he began panting heavily.
