Solution : Average marks obtained in Maths $= \frac{35+25+50+50}{4}=\frac{160}{4}=40$ Average marks obtained in English $=\frac{40+50+45+55}{4}=\frac{190}{4}=47.5$ $\therefore$ Difference = 47.5 – 40 = 7.50 Hence, the correct answer is 7.50.
