Correct Answer: 32%
Solution : The area of a rectangle = length × breadth Let the original length and breadth be 100 units each. So, the original area of the rectangle = 100 × 100 = 10000 sq. units Now, the new length is 110 units and the new breadth is 120 units. So, the new area of the rectangle = 110 × 120 = 13200 sq. units Therefore, the required percentage increase = $\frac{13200-10000}{10000}×100$ = $\frac{3200}{10000}×100$ = 32% Hence, the correct answer is 32%.
