Solution : Average sales of J in years D and E = $\frac{(400 + 600)}{2} = 500$ Average sales of K in years G and H = $\frac{(400 + 300)}{2} = 350$ P1 = The difference between the average sales of J in years D and E and the average sales of K in years G and H = 500 - 350 = 150 P2= The value of average sales of K in all years = $\frac{(1200 + 900 + 1000 + 400 + 300)}{5} = \frac{3800}{5}=760$ The value of (P2 – P1) = 760 - 150 = 610 Hence, the correct answer is 610.
