Correct Answer: Rs. 684
Solution : Market Price of cooler = Rs. 800 First discount = 10% = $\frac{10\times{800}}{100}$ = Rs. 80 Selling Price = Market Price – Discount Selling Price = 800 – 80 = Rs. 720 Due to the festival season, the shopkeeper allowed a further discount of 5%. So, second discount = 5% of 720 = $\frac{5\times{720}}{100}$ = Rs. 36 $\therefore$ Selling Price of cooler = 720 – 36 = Rs. 684 Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 684.
