MCA and ME are not same as MCA is masters in computer application after BCA one goes for MCA for masters whereas ME is masters in engineering after bachelor's in engineering in computer or any other branch one does ME for higher studies.

MCA and ME are definitely not the same.

MCA stands for master in computer application. It is a course which one can persue after completing their BCA degree which is bachelor in computer application.

ME stands for master of engineering. It is a degree that one can persue after completing their BE which is bachelor of engineering. ME offers several courses like mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electronic communication engineering etc.

One similarity between them is that both are post graduate degrees.
