Hello Aspirant

There are a number of BEd colleges in India and naming one could be difficult. If you mention which state you are focusing in, it might help me narrow down the list.

The famous campuses are located at Shimoga and Hosapete, affiliated to the National College of Education.

Normally, one requires an undergraduate degree with a minimum percentage and may have to pass an entrance examination besides having some experience in teaching. Otherwise, you would also be admitted after completing graduation or post-graduation in the relevant discipline.

The courses in B.Ed. run for 1–2 years and would, therefore, adequately prepare one for teaching.

Fees may vary from institution to institution and could be anywhere from INR 15,000–300,000. This would also need some specifications as to which college you are looking into.

Hope this helps
