Hi Aditi.
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are eligible for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges subject to rules and regulations framed by the respective State Governments, Institution and the Government of India.
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.
Admission to the NRI seats may be made on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination.
NRI students are not eligible for seats in the General Quota, instead the Seats of NRI that are not filled are transferred to General Quota.
For AIIMS, there isn't any reservations for NRI students. You will have to answer AIIMS 2018 and compete with Indian students answering the exam.
For Counseling in the State you belong to, you will have to register to opt for the counseling of your state. Here, also you will be under NRI Quota and not General Quota.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
