Hello dear student !
The molecular formula of Hypophosphorous Acid is H3PO2 . Therefore, in the structure of this formula two Hydrogen atoms are attached to the phosphorous atom with single bond. Also one (-OH) is attached to phosphorous in the structure. with single bond and one oxygen atom is attached to phosphorous with double bond.
Hi,
There is 2 hydrogen atoms. Molecular formula of Hypophosphorous Acid is H 3 PO 2 . In this, two hydrogen atoms are attached to phosphorus atom with single bond, one -OH group is attached to phosphorus atom with single bond and one oxygen atom is attached to phosphorus atom with double bond.
Hope this helps.
